Mango Rice

Mango Rice is my absolute favourite. There is no better Mango Rice than the one my wife is churning out from her kitchen.

  1. What is so special about Mango rice? on the picture it just looks like sticky rice and Mango! are there any special spices needed or how is it made?

    1. Hi Thomas,
      It is similar to the Schwarzwaelder Kirschtorte. There Schwarzwaelder Kirschtorten from a Schwarzwald Bauernhof in Germany but you also can get them from a Singapore bakery. Imagine the difference.

      As with all food it starts with the ingredients. Do you get a nice ripe and sweet Mango or a sour greenish looking one. Do you get a tasty nice coconut sauce or a thinly looking watery one. Do you get a superior rice meant to make sticky rice? Do you get a bit of a crunchy almond nut toping or nothing instead.
      I hope I could bring accross where the “dog is burried”.
